ARD conducts three cleaning campaigns in Aljawf Gov. – ARD

ARD conducts three cleaning campaigns in Aljawf Gov.
In WASH Emergency Response Project in Al Aljawf , ARD conducts three cleaning campaigns in Almutoon , Alhazm and Khab wal Sha’af districts from 18 to 27 Feb 2020 in participation with community in the targeted areas.
These campaigns aim to raise awareness of local communities on necessity of all members of community to cooperate in removing solid waste from streets and places of population gathering, which is one of the most important causes of the spread of various diseases and epidemics.
600 of the beneficiary communities from different age groups participated in these campaigns. These campaigns lifted and removed large quantities of waste and solid waste that were accumulated in the various targeted areas and moved them to locations away from the residential areas where they were burned.
