The health team of Al-Atta for Relief and Development in Al-Bayda city concluded the two activities of the training course for community health volunteers on the health education and the session of the community’s midwives on the principles of reproductive health for the targets in the Makiras and Waleed Rabie, which lasted from Sunday to Thursday 16-20 December 2018 within Activities and Events of the Emergency Health Response Project (ARD), funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), was attended by Dr. Muqbel Saleh Al-Tahiri, Assistant Deputy of the Office of Public Health and Population, Al-Bayda Governorate, Director of Al-Thawra General Hospital, and Dr. Mujahid Ali Al-Mudhari, Public Health and Population – Al-Bayda Governorate and Professor Mohammed Salhi Director of Health Education and Information at the Office. In the closing ceremony, Dr. Al-Mudhari stressed the importance of this type of courses because of its direct impact on raising the level of health awareness in the community Through the mission of community health volunteers as well as the effective role of midwives in reducing the risk of unsafe birth and praised the Foundation for Giving and Relief and Development and its leading role in the humanitarian field. These activities are part of the emergency health response project to support a number of health facilities in Sana’a And white with medicines and medical supplies,And provide them with solar systems and monthly operating expenses, as well as the restoration of dilapidated facilities, and provide monthly incentives for health workers and volunteers in those facilities and the work of training courses on integrated health programs and reproductive health and other programs.
